Momento ("App") is operated by SDM Global Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Momento on iOS and when you visit our website at momentomoments.com.

By using Momento, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a unique account identifier. This is used solely to authenticate you and associate your moments with your account.

Moment Content: Momento allows you to create personal moments containing titles, notes, dates, mood indicators, and optional photos, locations, and tagged people. This content is private by default and visible only to you unless you explicitly share it.

Photos: If you grant permission, Momento accesses your photo library so you can attach photos to moments. Photos are only accessed when you actively select them and are uploaded solely to associate them with a moment.

Location Data: Location tagging is entirely optional. Location is only stored when you explicitly add it to a moment. Momento does not track your location in the background.

Contacts: If you choose to sync contacts, Momento accesses your address book to let you tag people in moments. Contact data is stored on our servers only to enable this feature and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Push Notifications: If you enable reminders, we store a push notification token to deliver your daily reminder. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.

Usage Data: We may collect basic technical information such as device type and app version to help diagnose issues and improve the app.

To provide and maintain the Momento service.

To authenticate your account and keep it secure.

To store and display your moments and related content.

To send push notifications if you have enabled them.

To respond to support requests.

SDM Global Inc. does not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your private Moment content, including notes, photos, tagged people, or voice recordings, for advertising or profiling.

Our website uses third-party analytics services, described in the Website Analytics section below, that may collect technical information about website visits. This is separate from and independent of any content you create inside the iOS application.

Momento offers an optional auto-renewing subscription (Momento Premium) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings.

SDM Global Inc. does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.

Your private Moment content is not used for advertising.

Limited service providers may process data only to the extent necessary to operate the service. These providers are contractually bound to confidentiality obligations and may not use your data for their own purposes.

Uploadcare: We use Uploadcare to handle photo and media uploads and storage. Photos you attach to moments are uploaded to and stored on Uploadcare's servers. Their privacy policy is available at uploadcare.com/about/privacy-policy/.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SDM Global Inc., our users, or the public.

Our website (momentomoments.com) uses third-party analytics services to help us understand how visitors use the site. These services may collect information such as:

• Pages and content viewed on our website • How you arrived at our site (referral source) • Browser type, operating system, and device type • Approximate geographic location derived from your IP address • Interactions with links and buttons on the page • Cookies or similar tracking technologies set by these services

The following analytics services are currently active on our website:

Google Analytics (GA4): Operated by Google LLC. Google may process data it collects in accordance with its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). To opt out of Google Analytics measurement, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Yandex Metrika: Operated by Yandex. This service records click maps, tracks link clicks, and measures engagement on our website. Their privacy policy is available at yandex.com/legal/confidential/.

These analytics services operate on our website only. They do not have access to the private Moment content you create inside the iOS application. We do not combine your in-app content with website analytics data.

You can control cookies through your browser settings or use browser privacy extensions to limit tracking by these services.

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Me tab > Delete Account). Upon deletion, your account and associated moments are permanently removed from our servers.

You may also contact us to request deletion of specific data.

Momento is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
